
Biography
Dr. Narinder Dhruv Batra, born on April 19, 1957, in Sonepat, Haryana, India, has led a distinguished career marked by notable achievements in both sports and business.
He began his academic journey at Burn Hall School in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, where he completed his higher secondary education in 1974. He then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Amar Singh College, Srinagar, graduating in 1977, and furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Kashmir in 1981. Dr. Batra’s passion for hockey has remained a central part of his life. He captained the Burn Hall School Hockey Team in 1972 and 1973, leading them to victory in the State Inter School Championships and participating in the All Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament in Delhi.

Awarded the “Capital Foundation National Award” for 2020 in Sports.
